Evans-Brant Central School District is located at 959 Beach Road in Angola, New York. The district is home along the southern shore of Lake Erie about 21 miles south of Buffalo, New York. The district is considered both rural and suburban and provides education to students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grades for the towns of Evans and Brant including the villages of Angola, Farnham, and the Hamlet of Derby.
The Evans-Brant Central School District is home to seven schools, which include A. J. Schmidt Elementary, Brant Elementary, Highland Elementary, J. T. Waugh Elementary, W. T. Hoag Elementary, Lake Shore Middle School, and the Lake Shore Senior High School.
The district is committed to providing quality educational opportunities for all students in each grade. Along with this providing an exceptional education, the district ensures that every student acquires the necessary skills and knowledge to become self-directed life long learners.
The Evans-Brant Central School District provides the most innovative technology systems in the state with over 2000 computers including high bandwidth internet access. Every classroom within the district has the ability to access voice, video, and data transmissions throughout the infrastructure of the district.
This district is home to a complete interscholastic athletic program for students in 6th through 12th grades and a strong music program for students in 5th through 12th grades. Band is available for elementary, middle school, and high school students. At the middle and high school levels other course such as wind ensembles, jazz bands, orchestras, and choral groups are also available.
