Elba Schools
Elba Central School District is located at 57 South Main Street Elba, NY. This New York Public School system offers education opportunities for grades K through 12 to the community of Elba. Learning technology is top of the districts agenda and the Elba Central School District computer technology infrastructure is comprised of two (2) local area networks. One LAN is dedicated to instructional purposes and the other is utilized for administrative needs.
The instructional network provides the students and staff of the district access to electronic databases of information, Internet access, software applications and curricular software. The administrative network is accessed by teachers in grades 7 through 12 for grade reporting and by the administrative staff for Internet access, software applications, student management and financial/business applications.
The students will use technology as a part of their problem-solving and learning activities and be prepared to deal with new and changing technologies. Technology will be used to help the students and teachers acquire process and use data. Technology will also be used to connect students and staff to each other and to the larger world to make learning more relevant and authentic. Technology will promote equity and individual Learning at Elba Central.
Elba is a charming community in Genesee County in which neighborliness, hard work, and community pride flourish. It is a small town of families, churches, fine sports teams, and family farms. Located six miles north of Batavia, Elba has its own K-12 school, which is a source of pride and community spirit. Fittingly, our picturesque rural community is also home to some outstanding artists.
