Edgemont School Schools

Edgemont Union Free School is located at 300 White Oak Lane Scarsdale, NY serving grades K-12 in Westchester County. Westchester County is home to more indoor and outdoor activities that can keep anyone entertained with most any special interest they care to pursue. The School District aims to teach every student educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Officials want to input innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.

Throughout the District, special education students participate in regular classes. Special Education teachers work closely with grade level and subject area teachers as part of a collaborative/integrated special education program. Specialists in music, art, library, physical education, technology, home and careers and computers enrich the curriculum. The staff and teachers adhere to the mission statement of the district and pride themselves on working together with students, parents and community to provide a safe and quality learning environment for their students.

The Edgemont Union Free School District maintains a computer network for students, faculty and staff in order to support learning and to enhance instruction. The School District also recognizes that computers and the Internet have become an important part of everyday life, and that it is desirable for school employees to gain proficiency in using these resources. Accordingly, reasonable personal use of School District computer and Internet facilities is permitted for faculty and staff.
