The Corning-Painted Post Area School District's Board of Education is dedicated to providing equal educational opportunities that enable students to acquire the skills, knowledge and discipline necessary for success in a competitive society.
The C-PP Board of Education is comprised of nine volunteer members who serve three-year terms. The Board is governed by its by-laws and the School District's Code of Ethics. Each school in the District has an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) unit made up of parents, teachers and members of the community who work on behalf of students and the schools. District PTA's are affiliated with state and national PTA's, and work together with them to strengthen public education through parent and community involvement.
In keeping with our vision to be a model for educational excellence, the Corning-Painted Post Area School District is committed to improving instruction and learning for all students so our graduates leave our schools with the skills and abilities they need to succeed in today's world. A number of District programs are specifically designed to improve and enhance classroom instruction, thus helping to provide a level of rigor appropriate to each student, in areas that are relevant to lifelong learning.
