Cooperstown Schools
Cooperstown Central School District is located at 39 Linden Avenue Cooperstown, NY and it serves grades k-12 in Otsego County. The Board focuses on the development of the school budget in the upcoming year. This is always a challenging endeavor given the many influences beyond our control that can negatively impact the expenditure side of the budget. They will continue to work to create a spending plan that is sensitive to the taxpayers of our district while at the same time provide for the needs of our students.
The community will begin to see the many improvements provided by the passing of the district’s capital project. The Board is grateful to the residents for the support received. Those areas targeted by the capital project were sorely in need of attention and addressing them will serve our school and community well.
The Cooperstown Central School District is a partnership of students, parents, teachers, staff and all other community members. The school's mission is to provide a caring environment that motivates students to pursue individual excellence and to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for continual growth. Education at Cooperstown Central School shall foster an active curiosity, self-discipline, a positive attitude and compassion.
