Cheektowaga-Maryvale Union Free School District is located at 1050 Maryvale Drive in Cheektowaga, New York. Cheektowaga is home in the north central part of the Erie County. The western border of Cheektowaga is with Buffalo and within the town limits of Cheektowaga is the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, the main airport for Erie County.
The Cheektowaga-Maryvale Union Free School District provides a quality education for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The vision of the district is a commitment to creative a positive environment that will provide a multitude of opportunities that will enrich the lives of each student, emotionally and physically.
The mission of Cheektowaga-Maryvale Union Free School District states, “Maryvale Union Free School District is a welcoming community that provides opportunities to grow as responsible, productive, and involved citizens who possess self-motivation, a love of learning and respect for self and others.”
The district holds dear their beliefs that all children can learn, the district’s success is seen by the success of its students, it takes the entire community to educate children, the school must make have a relationship or a bond with each child, parents need to share in the responsibility of educating their children, students need to accept responsibility for their own learning and their actions, and the school environment should be welcoming, safe, and respectful.
