Bayport-Blue Point Schools
Bayport-Blue Point Union Free School District is home to three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school all in Bayport except for Blue Point Elementary School, which of course is home in Blue Point.
The district is home in Bayport a hamlet located in the southeastern part of the Town of Islip in Suffolk County. The community as well as the school staff and administration take pride in their schools and their ability to aid in the development and education of students.
The Bayport-Blue Point Union Free School District is committed to providing each and every student with an exceptional education while fostering greater student achievement. This is accomplished by focusing on leadership development, introducing new technologies, and implementing all the resources available for the highest quality education. Their goal is to ensure that every child will be able to meet or exceed the state standards while developing solving skills, critical thinking, analytical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and practice higher order.
Providing a high quality education to the students is one of the highest precedence throughout the community. The entire community works together in providing all that is needed academically and emotionally for all students to succeed and becoming productive members of the community and society.
