Ballston Spa Central School District covers approximately 60 square miles. Local museums, a library, recreation fields and shopping areas make it a one-stop community for cultural enrichment and basic needs. They are just six miles south of world-renowned Saratoga Springs, New York and 25 miles north of Albany, the State Capital. Easy access to the Adirondack Northway and NYS Thruway allows our residents to be in Boston, Montreal or New York City within three hours. An ideal recreation spot, the Adirondack Mountains and Lake George are but a few of the attractions for an excellent quality of life.
The Ballston Spa Central School District follows the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. There is an abundance of student services available within the school system starting at pre-school age and up to the 21 year old that want to continue their education.
