Abbott Schools

Abbott Union Free School District is located at 100 North Broadway Irvington, NY in Westchester County. Westchester County is home to more indoor and outdoor activities that can keep anyone entertained with most any special interest they care to pursue. Golf, Parks, Skiing, Hunting, Chimney Bluffs, Seaway Trail, Snowmobile, Erie Canal and Nature adventure. The School District aims to teach every student educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Officials want to input innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.

Throughout the District, special education students participate in regular classes. Special Education teachers work closely with grade level and subject area teachers as part of a collaborative/integrated special education program. Specialists in music, art, library, physical education, technology, home and careers and computers enrich the curriculum. The staff and teachers adhere to the mission statement of the district and pride themselves on working together with students, parents and community to provide a safe and quality learning environment for their students.
