Located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, Yates County is one of the smallest in the state but is not to be missed. Both Keuka and Seneca Lakes enter Yates County and make for great outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, water skiing and more. With a large portion of the economy focused on agriculture, there are plenty of farm stands and farmers markets to take advantage of as well as summer festivals and fairs. Dundee and Penn Yan are the two main public school districts in the county, making it a small and pleasant place to live and learn. The small town appeal continues through the schools and community support is noticeable at all age levels.
