Tompkins County School Districts

Famous for the beautiful natural scenery and the prestigious universities that lie within its borders, Tompkins County is a favorite location for families and tourists alike. With Ithaca College and Cornell University within minutes of one another, there is a strong emphasis placed on education in Tompkins County, a fact that is evident among its public and private schools as well. There are six public school districts among county borders and each has a charm and appeal all its own.
